Recipes featured: spaghetti squash bolognese


  • Scrambled egg
  • half an avocado
  • bulletproof coffee: 10oz coffee, 1 tbsp coconut oil, cinnamon- blended


  • Tuna salad
  • pistachios


Kaitie’s Bolognese Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil,
  • 1 small onion- diced,
  • 2 cloves of garlic- minced,
  • 1 carrot- finely chopped,
  • 1 stalk of celery- chopped,
  • 1 pound of ground beef,
  • 1 tbsp of tomato paste,
  • 1 can of Muir Glen pizza sauce (or any pizza sauce without added sugar. This one is my favorite)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar (no caramel color added)
  • 1 cup of water

Method: (DISCLAIMER- Takes approx. 1 1/2 hrs to cook)
Heat olive oil in a large pan on medium-high heat. Add diced onions, carrots, celery, and garlic. Sauté for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. Season ground beef with salt and pepper, add to skillet and cook another 10 minutes until meat is cooked through. Add tomato paste and pizza sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Add balsamic vinegar and cook for 5 more minutes, then add water and bring to a boil, lower to med-low heat and simmer for 1 hour, taste and salt if necessary. Serve over spaghetti squash ❤
